Russian ramp checks find 225 safety issues

The Russian Department of State oversight of civil aviation, Gosavianadzor conducted a total of 185 “ramp checks”  of civil aircraft of the Russian Federation during the month of December 2011. NTSB cites ATC error as probable cause of near mid-air collision over Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport

EASA orders inspection of A380 for cracks in wing rib feet
